Peach Boxing Foundation

Peach Boxing Foundation Inc is a New Zealand registered charity and not-for-profit organisation dedicated to changing lives through boxing.
We use the discipline, structure, and challenge of the sport to support young people and communities to build confidence, resilience, and direction both inside and outside the ring.
Our programs provide access to coaching, mentorship, and a positive training environment where individuals are supported to grow, set goals, and unlock their full potential.
At our core, we believe boxing is more than a sport — it’s a pathway to opportunity, wellbeing, and lasting change.
Rising Gloves Programme
The Rising Gloves Programme is a community-based youth boxing and mentoring initiative. It is designed to support rangatahi who may be at risk, disengaged, or in need of positive structure and connection.
Using boxing as the tool — not the goal —
Rising Gloves focuses on:
- Building discipline, confidence, and self-belief
- Teaching respect, accountability, and emotional control
- Providing a safe, supportive environment with strong adult role models
- Creating routine, belonging, and purpose
Boxing becomes a vehicle for personal growth
After piloting this programme in 2025, our 1st official term in 2026 has been extremely successful with tangible positive impacts on our rangatahi.
- Improved school attendance and engagement
- Increased confidence and self belief
- Ability to persevere through hard things, which transfers into life
- Better fitness, strength, balance and co-ordination
- Increase access to play, recreation, and sport
- Develop cultural identity through physical activity
